Because I’m a bit of a fruitcake, and packing up to move across the country isn’t quite enough for me, I decided that it might be a good idea to take a bit of time to create!!! I have so many expectant friends these days, and while I’m a fan of giving things that people need, I’m not a big box kind of baby shower shopper. I like a more personal touch, and since I can’t afford the diaper genie/stroller/other expensive item, I like to make things. There have been blankets, bags, quilts, bibs and burp clothes, and lots of other fun stuff. None of it so far has been well documented, so I’m going to start. Plus, Ernie turned out really well, and I want to show off! 
Lee, well, he needs a bit of practice, but he’s not bad for the first time, if I do say so myself!!
So, I know the prototype is usually a little humbler than the following projects, but I’m pretty proud of these little guys!!! Ernie is a definite hit!
And now it’s really time to pack up the sewing machine, as next weekend will be dedicated to the hubby, a new baby shoot, and the remainder of the packing!
